A beautiful garden now stands alone,
missing the one who nurtured it -

Her flowers still bloom, and the sun it still shines,

The weeds lay waiting to take the gardens beauty away,

she loved every flower even some that were weeds,
So much love she would plant with each little seed,
But just like her flowers she was part of Gods plan,
So when it was her time He reached down his hand,
He look through the Garden searching for the best,
That's when he found Susan, it was her time to rest,
It was hard for those who loved her, to just let her go,
But God had a spot in His garden, that needed a gentle soul,
So when you start missing Susan, remember if you just wait,

She'll meet you at the gate...

Susan was the most amazing lady - heart of pure gold! She was always there to help someone out, be a part of something bigger than herself, to make a difference in the lives of others, and always a light in the darkness! So many beautiful memories are held by our family of Susan and her big, beautiful heart.

I was a counselor at Brunswick High School - Susan worked in my office. I loved her then, she was such a joy to work with - always smiling, willing to go the second mile, looking ahead for anyway to help. I have seen her briefly thru the years but I knew from Susan that she had found the love of her life, I am very sad to know she left so soon. Prayers to her family.

Susan was so much fun to be around. I only knew her through Dr. Yeargan's office but always so enjoyed chatting with her on my visits. We missed her when she moved to North Carolina but wished her well. Blessings to everyone in her family.

Susan, I only knew you a short time, but I can honestly say that you were an absolute delight to be around and to know. Your kindness to people and the love you had for James showed in every breath you took. I will forever remember the conversation that we had sitting by the fireplace last Christmas.
