Anne,
I am sending you a note, but I wanted to write here to express my deep felt sorrow at your loss. My mother shared with me Susan's passing. We rejoice for her and are saddened for you. My best memories were knowing her in the youth group, and praying with her around the time she went on her mission trip to Hawaii during college. She had a way of handling the good and the bad with such grace and truth.

Ann,Bryan and family,
Praying and thinking of all of you! Growing up in Odessa, I have many memories with Susan that include. Many hours of practice and band camp!! Such a sweet and beautiful person! I am so thankful to know she has a glorious new body and is not in pain. I know she will truly be missed by her family and friends. I moved in the last week and one of our Junior majorette line pictures fell out of one of my photo albums. What a precious memory I have of us. Praying for you all in this time of loss.

Dear Mark and Family,
I am saddened by the news about Susan. Although we recntly lost touch do to busyness of life, I think of Susan often. She had such a dear and gentle way that I loved being around. She was also an inspiration to me in the way she was able to love and care for the needs of her very large family! I am thankful for the many miles that we ran together talking all the way about our kids! It is comforting to know that her legacy will continue through her five precious children. May God bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you and give you peace. Love to each of you.

I hope you know how much I loved Susan. She was one of my best friends while we were at UT. We met when we both moved into SRD down the hall from one another. Our friendship was pretty immediate because Susan was such a sweetheart and loved everyone. She was the reason I wanted to be a Kappa. She taught me how to cross stitch and we made these adorable Bible markers. We prayed together and read our Bibles together ate our meals together walked to class together. She modeled Christianity to me. We lost touch after college and I really regret it. I would have loved to have known her children. I'm sure they are so much like her: beautiful on the inside and out. I had a really strange dream about Susan a few years ago..it was out of the blue..but I had this strong feeling that I needed to tell her how much she influenced my walk with Christ. I still have the little Kappa doll she made for me and her sweet notes with all the Bible verses on them. What a blessed mother and wife you all have. She left a legacy on this earth. We will all be together again soon. Much love and prayers to you all.
