Our condolences to the family. We just found out a year too late. We wondered why she did not return our calls. She usually called after receiving Christmas card from us but no call December 2016. She loved line dancing and walking for Komen cancer walk. We will miss you Susanna. Paul and Raquel Raymond

Marijean, as I was reading of the life of your mother, I remembered meeting her just a couple of times. At the time I thought of her as sweet, quiet woman, with a great dignity and beauty that she had obviously passed on to you. Today as I read of her courage and the way that she gave herself to others I see an even truer picture of what she instilled in you. Like your mother you have always quietly stood up for right and truth and honor. You have lived a life of loving others deeply and are always ready willing and able to help even when it isn't easy or convenient. You live with an open heart and an open home, committed to loving and serving a BIG God, and you are an amazing wife and mother. Your life is a testimony to the faithfulness of God to His children. As I read about your mother, I see that the apple did not fall far from the tree and I am certain that she must have been so thankful to have a daughter and family like yours! I am so sorry for your loss! I know that no words can replace being able to sit beside your mother, but I praise the Lord for the legacy she has left and ask him to comfort and hold you all very close in these difficult days ahead. Much love to you and your entire family!
