Susie Nettie Neufeld The passing of Susie Nettie (Berg) Neufeld occurred at Keedwell Assisted Living Centre in Saskatoon on November 21, 2011. Susie was 96 years old. She is lovingly remembered by her son Ken Neufeld of Fresno, California; daughter Gloria and husband Vern Neufeld Redekop of Ottawa, ON; son Howard and wife Norma Jean Neufeld of Port Coquitlam, BC; and son Eldon and wife Delphine Neufeld of Cobble Hill, BC; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; her brother Herman Berg, her brother-in-law Harold and wife Viola Neufeld; sister-in-law Helen Neufeld; and brother-inlaw Albert Adrian. Susie was predeceased by her parents Sarah Goertzen and George Berg; her husband, Jacob John Neufeld in 2000, her sister Dora and brother-in-law Dave; brother Jake and sister-in-law Eva; brother Frank and sister-in-law Katie; sister Sarah and brother-in-law Ed; sister Tina and brother-in-law Jake Goertz; sister Linda and brother-in-law Walter; her brother-in-law Jake Goertz; her brothers-in-law Henry and John Neufeld; her sister-in-law Lena Neufeld; her niece Karen Berg; her former daughterin-law, Kathryn Klassen, a grandson, Christopher Neufeld; and a great grandson, Johann Michael Neufeld. The family would like to express sincere gratitude for the loving care provided to Susie by Myrna and Dalton Varga and staff at Keedwell Assisted Living Centre, both in the last two years of her living there and in her last days. The Viewing will take place at the Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny, SK on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The burial will occur on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Brotherfield Cemetery, (Travel north on Highway 12, travel past the Hepburn access road, go 11.5 kms and take a right turn). A Service of Remembrance and Celebration will be held at Bethany Manor, 110 La Ronge Road the same day at 11:30 a.m. followed by a lunch at 12:30 p.m. and a time of storytelling.
