I grew up on Fallen Timber Drive during the 1980s, the Raque house was just a few doors down. Our neighborhood Brownsboro Farm was on the edge of town with a neighborhoods pool, tennis court and park.. a really big deal at the time. If memory serves me, Susie was a lifeguard a few summers and I recollect her as one of the grownups, one of the 'older kids'. If you're lucky like me, childhood memories are distant fantasies of simplicity and good times. I didn't know her well but she was part of my childhood, those good times and that's enough for me to grieve for her. I'm sorry to read to read of your family's loss.

Love this photo. That little grin is Susie. Susie, you were taken too young. I know you had plans you were not able to complete but some times the Lord has other plans. We enjoyed you so much every time we met - always a smile and a glad to see you hug. May God bless you and hold you tight as we recall the memories made here on earth. The pool, the stables - weren't we lucky. We'll never forget you. A big hug from all the Trojes with a lot of love. Dot and all the gang.

We were looking through old family pictures and those with Suzy in it showered her smiling or laughing. She always seemed to relish Clements Family get togethers and was quick to appreciate old stories (told slightly different each time as the years went by). It's tough to have to deal with so many health issues and am glad she's free of suffering.
