To the Fegan family:



I would like to express my deepest sympathy to you in the loss of your mother/grandmother and best friend. She was a really special lady and will be missed by all who knew her. I am quite sure you will miss her always, but she will never be gone from your hearts. Her memories will be alive forever. I am also sure that the many adopted cats that she left behind will miss her smiling face and loving touch.

My deepest sympathy to Bob and Sue's family. The last time I saw Sue, December 2004 at a Christmas Party, she looked beautiful. She may have been in a wheelchair, and not feeling her best, but she looked radiant. We talked a little about the old days in the Senate and had a really nice time. May she rest in peace. I pray Sue's husband, children and grandchildren take comfort that, while she is no longer physically with us, she no longer suffers. May the Lord Bless and Comfort you.

It is with great regret to have read Susie's obituary. "Susie" is the name we have always fondly called her by. We have many fond memories of the whole family and in particular of Susie's Mom and Dad and her brother "Butch". Please accept our deepest sympathy and just know that all of you are thought of at this time of sorrow. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. May the Good Lord give you peace and comfort.

So many memories -- especially the Willie Nelson concerts. God now has another angel.

Dear Family Members:



I was a Senate Employee from 1982 – 1989, off and on during that time Sue was my boss. She was a great lady who always had words of wisdom and provided you with that little extra encouragement when it was needed.



I think my favorite story was one session day (which meant I had on a skirt and heals) she handed me these two boxes, told me that they were very important and with a smile on her face that I had to jog over to an office that was located in the Finance Building with them. I must have given her a look like “lady you're crazy jogging in heals -- if you're lucky I'll be able to walk really fast.” She then informed me of what I had in those two boxes, it was the Olympic Torch, and that is why she thought I should be jogging while delivering it.



Sue had a great sense of humor and always encourage you to do your best and to achieve whatever dream you may have had.



My thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of sorrow.
