Suzanne Kissel

Suzanne was my first organ teacher at Swalley Music in Aurora. My love of organ grew into learning pipe organ and playing in church. I ended up getting a music degree in Organ and church music from FSU. I’m not sure she ever knew how grateful I’ve been by her teachings. She was incredibly talented. I’m so glad our families were good friends.

Suzanne, it was indeed a pleasure to have you as my client. I wish you tranquility in your final resting place.

I am so very sad to hear of Suzanne's passing. Suzanne had such a huge influence on my musical career. I started organ lessons when I was 6 with Suzanne and wanted to grow up and be just like her. In my 6 year old eyes she was the epitome of a star...she was beautiful and glamorous and could sing and play anything!!! I will be forever grateful to her for being such an encouraging teacher. She made music fun and I have used that with my students for I am a teacher also. I did grow up and played & still play and sing and it's a direct result of lessons with Suzanne and then Ruth Churchill. Heaven got an angel and Suzanne will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences to Ron and Jeff & Stacy and the rest of Suzanne's family. You will be in my prayers. May God hold you close in the days & weeks ahead.

Suzanne and I raised our sisters together in the summer. The girls enjoys it. Suzanne help me to be part of the "gang". We had so much fun at our slumber parties and dance rehearsals for the variety show. Lots of memories

Dear Ron, Jeff and Stacy... So sorry about you loving wife,.. mother and our Sister-Law. You and Suzanne had an amazing 53 years together.. Never would I or your Brother would have believed Suzanne would have been the first of the four of us to go to be with Jesus... Im, sure she is watching from her heavenly home over you and the kids.am sure too she,s happy with her mom,dad and Nancy.. So sorry Rich and I couldn,t be there for you at this most difficult time in you lives... It really breaks our hearts for you too.. Please know you and the kids are in our daily thoughts and prayers..

Ron and family, This is a voice from the past --back to the days that Suzanne played the organ and sang for Job's Daughters, also Rising Sun Chapter. She had a remarkable talent for singing. Everyone looked forward to her music. I am sorry to learn that she passed away. My sincere sympathy to you and your family.

Ron, Jeff, Stacey, Bill and Sally. Wish we could be there for you right now. I am so glad we saw you at Rick's wake because we had not seen Suzanne for several years. Our family had been lifetime friends with the Abbott's. Suzanne was always upbeat and so funny! Loved talking with her. I took my first organ lessons from her and went on to college majoring in music, pipe organ in particular.
Roger and I are sending our love and care to the family and if we could we would be there. Suzanne was deeply loved.

I am so sorry to hear of Suzanne's passing, we were friends in high school and we had many good times together. She was so talented and her beautiful voice will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy to her whole family.
