Suzanne T. Maglinger

Suzanne Teresa Maglinger, 58, of 2713 Kingman Loop S., Owensboro, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on May 12, 1948, in Mariah Hill, In. to the late Arthur & Cecelia Grundhoefer. She was Staff Developer at Audubon Elemenatary School, earning Teacher of the Year honors in 2004. Sue was in elementary education for 19 years and taught in all three local school systems. She was a graduate of Brescia University and received her Masters degree from Western Kentucky University. She was a member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church. She loved nurturing & developing children and most of all being a mother to her three sons. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Grundhoefer in 1995.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Woody, her three sons and daughter-in-law, Woody & Leigh Ann Maglinger III, B. J. Maglinger, and Arthur Maglinger. She is also survived by her brothers, Bob, Dan, Dave, Gary, and Bernie Grundhoefer, two sisters, Patty Fischer and Mary Martin, several brothers- and sisters-in-law, and nieces & nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 2, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 8:30 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.

The family wishes donations to be made to the Daviess County Public School Foundation for the Audubon Elementary Technology Fund, 1622 Southeastern Parkway, Owensboro, Ky. 42303.
