Just heard about Sue's passing. Came as a shock. We could always depend on Sue in all the years that I worked for Pukaskwa NP. She will be missed by everyone.

To Larry, Brittany and to the Poirier family (Claudette, Joanne, Mark & Todd).
We were shocked of the news of Sue's passing. We had so much hope for her as she completed her numerous treatments. As Sue was so strong we never thought or considered that she would not conquer the challenge put in front of her. The sadness we feel as a family can't be described.
Sue she was the light in every room her presence her smile her laughter will be soulfully missed. The world is a far lesser place without her in it.
The service yesterday was a testimonial to how much Sue was loved by her colleagues, her friends & family.
We had enjoyed so many great visits with them in Cornwall then Aylmer then Smith Falls and back to Cornwall again. Sue was a beautiful person inside and out and the hostess of all times. Continuously making sure everyone was comfortable when staying with them.
Bye for now Suzanne.
Love Always

I would like to send my deepest sympathies to Larry, Brit and family. Sue loved, loved, loved her Brit...she always talked about her at the office. I attended the service today, and the church was full....a testimony to how much she was loved by not only her family, but by so many others, including her other family from Parks Canada. We worked together for many years and I loved how Sue made everyone comfortable. She loved to laugh, loved to tease, had a great sense of humour. She was dedicated at work and always helped us out. She always fought for what she believed was right. She would have been so happy to see her colleagues from Ottawa, as well as some retired colleagues that came to bid her farewell. Please know that my thoughts are with you during these difficult times. Sue will never be forgotten. I'm just very honoured and feel blessed to have worked with Sue...she was amazing!

I'm still in shock over the news! My heart felt condolences to the family and especially to Brittany. Know that she loved you very much! She always had a sparkle in her eyes when she spoke of you. Sue and I go way back. The first thing that striked me about Sue when I started working in HR, was how she easily connected with everyone. She certainly had a way to make everyone laugh; she loved to tease and she loved to have a good time! One of her greatest pleasures was helping others. You would go see her with a work problem and she'd have it resolved in no time. It provided her great satisfaction to know that she could help you! Rest in peace mon amie...j'taime et tu me manque beaucoup! Nicole LeBlanc

What a privilege it has been for me to work with Sue for the past 25+ years. She always had a smile, an encouraging word or a compliment for everyone. Her corporate knowledge and expertise is a great loss to the Parks Canada family. I personally will miss the conversations about our daughters and the daily "so what's for dinner?". In our last conversation she told me how she valued the time spent with her beloved family on the numerous treks to Ottawa (especially the best seafood beside the canal). Her love for her family (especially her precious Brittany) was evident. I miss you and love you Sue!

Sue, you were a wonderful person, with a great big heart and you always had a smile or a funny for everyone.
I would often meet up with Sue during breaks or lunchtime. We would always have lots to talk about. Britt, you were the apple of her eye,, she was so very proud of you. Larry, Sue knew you loved her very much. Todd, she was so happy for you when you started working for Service Canada. You had a special place in her heart.
Mrs. Poirier, Sue knew the great love you had for her, and there was no one like her Mom to her.
I could not attend her funeral service this morning however know that you are all in my prayers.
She is gone to a better place, and maybe there will be a big party up there, in heaven and she will see the big swimming pool and the pool boy she always joked about if she won the lottery.
Maybe she did win...her number was called.

Sue was truly one of the great "lights" at Parks Canada. For many years I only knew her as a phone friend from our site to her office and when we finally met in person it was like seeing a long-time friend again. I am so sad for her passing and pray for your family and may God bless you all in your memories of her.

My deepest heart-felt sympathy to all of Sue's family. This news came as a shock! My time in Cornwall and working with Sue has so many good memories. I was glad that Sue was part of my team. I will always remember her laugh....and her compassion. The friendship and keeping in touch continued on even after I left. I was glad to be in that part of your life Sue. As a proud mom, you would talk about Britanny and how proud you were of her! We would compare notes on many things, then laugh and cry...... Sue, you will be missed. Your memories will live on with many of us.

To Larry, Brit and all the Poirier/Morrison family, I send my deepest sympathies for the loss of our dear Sue. I've had the pleasure of working with her for my 13 years at Parks Canada. My heart breaks for all that have been touched by Sue. She will be very sadly missed by so many.

I am so sorry to hear about Sue. I haven't been able to get her out of mind since I heard the sad sad news. She was a great friend, always there to give advice and make you feel better (which she did many a time for me). We spent a lot of time together when I lived in Cornwall and although we did not talk near as much when I moved back to NL, we did chat occasionally and she always remained a great friend. I will miss her dearly.
