Hi friend
It’s the holidays and my thoughts are of you. How I wish you were here to enjoy all our children spouses my grand babies. We all know what the holidays meant to you. I still think of you often and miss you each and everyday. This is still so unreal to me. This wasn’t the way it was suppose to be. Keep watching over us, keep dancing, keep smiling, be happy and will see you again someday soon. I love you Suz!!!

Love Always

Hey Suzanne, another year and you've been gone 12 years now. You would be 57. Given what's been going on in the last year, you're probably glad to not be here, at least for right now.:D Plus who wants to be 57? :D Like Marilyn Monroe, you passed when you were still young and beautiful. If you are out there reading this, I just want to say hi and hopefully we'll meet up in the future when I get there myself. Much love, Rebecca

Just wanted to write. I didn't know about this space when Suzanne passed. I was just thinking about her today. We were friends in high school and after although I didn't see her much. I had moved to San Francisco, and she was also on her own trips. I just thought of her and remembered the fun times we had at school and then going to Santa Cruz for the weekend with a couple other girls in her VW Rabbit and listening to Journey and staying at the beach for a couple of days.

We had so much fun eating all the junk food on the Boardwalk and the deep fried asparagus and the chocolate dipped ice cream cones. We slept in her car and on the beach in sleeping bags (when you could do those things) and we all shared mascara and ended up all getting pink eye. :D Even with the pink eye I have such fun memories of that trip. It was 1980 or 1981 I think.

I had a dream about Suzanne right after she passed. I dreamt that I went to visit her in heaven and she was laughing like she would when something was silly and absurd.

And she was in a place with a lot of old people and she looked at me and said, "Its so funny I am here, because most people here are older. There's not as many of us young ones." She thought it was funny and the most ridiculous thing ever and she laughed about it. She seemed at peace and happy though.

I think of her every so often and miss her. I was thinking of her today and had forgotten of her passing. I wanted to call her and say hi, and then I remembered.... and I started crying. We had lost touch but she made a big difference in my life. She was nice to me when a lot of people were not. And she was a good person with a good sense of humor. I miss her. I wish she was still here.

Sorry it has taken so long for me to respond and sign Susanne's guest book. I quess signing it really meant she is gone and thats a hard one for me to except. But also to find the right words to explain the feelings I have not just for her but the children she left behind esp my little Megan and Gavin. So here's to you my dear friend.
You are special, because you're someone's friend, (you were my friend) You've touched someone's life in a unique way like no one else could. You've been there when someone needed you, when someone felt sad and all alone. You've given comfort. You've been there to celebrate the good times and the bad times, you have lent an ear when I needed you to listen. A shoulder when I needed to cry or just your arms when i needed a hug. You are special because you were my friend you are still my friend and will be my forever friend. I appreciate everything you have done for me. I am so sorry I wasn"t there for you in the end!! Remember even though your not close you will never be far from my heart. You keep that rocking chair up there in heaven waiting for me like we talked and laughed about so so many times. I love your kids like my own and will always and for ever be here for them if they ever need me I am just a phone call away. I love you Susanne and will miss you dearly so remember until we meet again my friend watch over all of us. I will forever feel your presents. One more thing I was unpacking and came accross a picture you had given me with a little saying on it and it said "MAKE A MISTAKE AND SEE WHO YOUR FRIENDS ARE" I KNOW YOU ARE MY FRIEND!! I also have a book mark sitting at my desk that was from "THE FAIRY" about friends and the last sentence states I CALL YOU MY FOREVER FRIEND well thats what i call you. I love you.

My deepest sympathies and heart go to Suzanne's children and family. I worked with Suzanne for a couple of years. Her smile and sense of humor always seemed to bring out the best in everyone around her. At that time in her life she only had Megan and Gavin and was so proud of her children. Her eyes literally sparkled when she spoke of them. So to Megan and Gavin I would like to say this of your mother: She loved you both very much and always had Hope in her Heart for both of you. "Hope: Of all the forces that make for a better world, none is so powerful as hope. With hope one can think, one can work and one can dream. If you have hope - you have everything." God Bless You, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Sue when our family moved next door. We were neighbors for about two years. Sue was a beautiful and lively person, and her smile was contagious. She will be missed. It will be my pleasure to let Holland know how beautiful her mother was. Sue and I always made time to stop during the day to chit chat. Her greatest subject was always about the kids.
Pat we're here for you and the kids, you do know that, don't you?

My sympathies to Meghan, Gavin & Holland. I remember running into your mother at the car wash right before Holland was born and Suzanne was telling me what a beautiful young woman Meghan had become. Your mom whipped out a picture of you (Meghan) and she was just so proud. For whatever reason, I never forgot that afternoon we talked. Maybe its because your mother was so proud, pregnant and beaming. I knew your mom from when we both worked for Hakeem, Ellis & Simonelli many years ago. She used to swish into the office with her pretty dresses and her long hair swaying and flowing. She turned alot of heads. You are all in my prayers - daily. God's blessings to you - Vicki Furgison
