Suzanne Schlegel Obituary
Keizer - Suzanne Schlegel, age 71, passed August 12, 2018. Born to the late Wallace and Kathryn Shryock on July 8, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio. She attended La Mirada High School and graduated in 1965. Suzanne married Steven Schlegel on September 20, 49 years ago in La Mirada, CA.
After Suzanne retired from secretarial work, she did some traveling. But what she really loved was her involvement in the ministries of her church. For example; the Shared Blessing Food Bank, Missionettes, the Royal Family Kids Camp, and countless other areas where there was a need. She also volunteered at the Polk Co. Court House as a victims advocate.
Suzanne is survived by her husband Steve, son Scott and two grandchildren, Austin and Greta, and also two brothers, Timothy and Bennett Shryock. She also has many nieces and nephews and her love was felt by everyone she met and she will be sorely missed.
A celebration of Suzanne's life will be held on August 18, 2018 at 5:00 pm at the Family Life Church, 1675 Wallace Rd. NW Salem, OR.
