My condolences to the entire Schmidt family. I have many happy memories of being at your house in Lisle and the great birthday parties your mom would throw. How ironic that your mom and my dad would later become neighbors again at Tabor Hills. I am so sorry for your loss. Tammy Randa/Wilson

When Sue worked in the A/V section of the library she was so very kind to Buddy who volunteered there. She would drive him home after his day of volunteering and she always made sure she kept in touch even when we moved to Missouri. We would make sure to see her when we came up to Chicago to visit and we remember her warmly. We will carry her with us always. Buddy Marijczyn and Barbara Spry (Creve Coeur, MO)

I will always remember working with Sue. She had a brilliant smile which went all the way to her eyes - especially when talking about her children. She loved the opera, trains, movies and her beloved cats. She was always kind and I was very lucky to know her. She will never be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Sue was one of the kindest people I was lucky enough to work with. My thoughts are with your family.

Bringing up Sue's name and remembering back on all the years we shared together here at the library will always bring a smile to my face. I considered it my honor to have known and worked with you. Thank you for that. To the family you leave behind, I trust there are many wonderful stories to share for many years in the future. She will never be forgotten.

May she feel her beautiful memories that were so brutally stolen from her by Alzheimer's come flooding back to her as she enters the gates of Heaven. Our deepest sympathies to your whole family during this period of grief. Love to you all. She was a very special lady.
