Suzanne Winkler

Suzanne J. Winkler passed away at the age of 89 on March 9, 2025, at Pearl Nursing Home in St. Charles, IL.

Suzanne was born in Chicago, IL on February 29, 1936. She was the daughter of John and Joanne (Ciesielski) Krzak, the oldest of five children. She was married to George E. Winkler for 69 years.

Suzanne is survived by her five children; Donna Crespo, Cheryl (Tom) Reining, Michael (Jan Arend) Winkler, Kathleen Asta and Joanne (Ken) Lukaszek: Eight grandchildren, Melissa (Brandon) Ervin, Amanda (Scott) O'Brien, Nicole (Mike Rodriguez) Crespo, Anthony Crespo, Sarah Asta, Samuel Asta, Kyle (Casey) Zalewski, Zachary Zalewski; Six great-grandchildren: Isaac Crespo, Christian Rodriguez, Dominic Rodriguez, Ava Crespo, Maximillian (Max) Crespo, and Deklen O'Brien, her sisters; Barbara Rosario and Patricia (Robert) Newton.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and a good friend of many. She is preceded in death by her husband, George E. Winkler, parents and two brothers John and Thomas Krzak.

A Funeral service will be held on May 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m, at Abraham Lincoln Veterans Cemetery, Elwood, IL.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held for Suzanne on Friday, May 9,2025 from 1pm to 5pm at the Bartlett Fire Barn located at 218 S. Main St., Bartlett, IL.
