Sydney BARE

BARE, III, Sydney Sydney Bare, III of Hyannis, MA, September 8, 1926 ~ January 26, 2017 Mr. Bare was born in White Plains, NY, September 8, 1926. He is a graduate of Randolph Macon Academy and Washington College in Virginia and was a World War II Air Force Veteran and in the Korean War Reserves. He was the devoted husband of the late Joan nee Brown; loving father of daughters Mary Bare and Elise (John) Terry and late son Charles Bare; dear brother of Thelma (the late Kenneth) Wrightson; loving grandfather of Charles (Jessica) Terry and Elijah (Savannah) Terry; loving great-grandfather of Bailey Terry, Jackson Terry and Chase Liimatainen; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews; and loving "hanai" cousin of the Cosbodillo, Erub and Gapol families. A good and generous friend to all he met, he was an active member of Button Gwinnett United Church of Christ in Lawrenceville, GA and the Federated Church of Hyannis in Hyannis, MA. He worked in the Baking Industry for nearly 50 years and was a member of the American Society of Bakers. A memorial service will be held at The Federated Church of Hyannis, 320 Main Street, Hyannis, MA, on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY, on Wednesday February 1, 2017 at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CHAMP Homes, 82 School Street, Hyannis, MA 02601.
