Sylvester P. McGinn

Father McGinn was an integral part of the lives of Immaculate Conception Parish and of the children attending school there. You have never been forgotten.

Father McGinn is well remembered,loved and missed in the Parish of Saint Ann. The beautiful service for him celebrated by our new Archbishop Timothy Dolan was fitting and much deserved.
Rest in peace, Father. ATTENTION HAS BEEN PAID!!!

May 18,2009 I met Fr. McGinn when I was about 5 years old right after my father had read about his recent Ordination into the Priesthood in the Catholic News. We were living in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx at the time and the reason why my Dad wanted me to meet him was that we shared the same name: Sylvester McGinn.

He was more than a priest. He was my friend, my mentor, my inspiration. Thanks for everything Father. I will not forget you, I will pray to you.

Fr. McGinn was such a positive influence on so many people.
He will always be remembered for all he did in Stapleton and
Immaculate Conception.

He was a very nice priest. I remember him well. Always trying to get the congreation to sing. Rest in peace Father. Judith Berge Flores a long time parishioner of St.Anns.
