I extend my deepest condolences & prayers to The family of Sylvester Turner. I met him 30 years ago & he has been a dear friend. In fact when I lost my job in 1984, I met with him and he shared my resume to several people. His kindness in helping me find another job was priceless. He was a devoted, dedicated and hard working individual who served his community, his constituents &the city of Houston. Although I will miss my dear friend, I take solace in knowing he is in the arms of his Lord & Savior - Jesus Christ. Well done you faithful servant.
