Sylvia Mae Anderson

PRINCETON — Sylvia Mae Anderson, 75, of the Ingleside Road in Princeton, died Thursday, August 07, 2008 at The Maples in Bluefield.Born May 2, 1933 in Elgood, she was the daughter of Marie Hazelwood Akers of Bluefield, Va. and the late Vernie Maze Akers. She was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith.In addition to her father, one son, George Anderson, Jr.; one brother, Rufus Akers; and one sister, Brenda Roth preceded her in death.Additional survivors include one son, Jerry Wayne Anderson of Princeton; one daughter, Katherine Combs and husband Charles of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and one sister, Hazel Taylor of Grand Rapids, Mich.Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. James Coburn officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
