Sylvia GRIFFIN

My life is richer for having known Sylvia. I had the privilege of teaching Sunday School with her at the Cathedral. Her joy transferred not just to the children but to those of us who taught with her. Though I haven't gotten to see her much in recent years, I always treasured her notes which kept me close in spirit. My condolences to her family; our thoughts and prayers are with you. We shared many times together as adult acolytes, and termed ourselves The Adultering Acolytes. She was the life of the group.

Like many of you, I will keep close every card and envelope containing Sylvia's unique and energetic hand-wiritng so that I may receive that jolt of inspiration called forth by her brilliant, vivacious, and committed pursuit of all things good and true!

A life well and fully lived.

What an amazing spirit. Loved when we shared acolyte duties at the Cathedral. I saw Sylvia last in the Denver Airport and we caught up on the plane. She was going to visit Rachel s children in Atlanta. kIt was always such a treat to spend time with her. My heart aches for her family.
