Aunt Sylvia always thought of Joni, and even talked to his Barney at your Dad´s memorial. She had such a kind heart. Missing the family at Christmas & all the memories. Sending our love & hugs to you!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Sylvia was one special lady. She would do anything for anyone. I remember her saying, "Don't say I worked too hard when I die, because I loved doing what I did." She sure did. When her customers went on cruises, they always went to Sylvia's cabin to get their hair done. It's what she loved the most. Now, she will continue to do hair in heaven! Heaven has gained an angel!

I met Sylvia years ago as a client of her salon and always looked forward to her warm smile greeting me.
I am certain Sylvia would not have considered herself a feminist in the traditional sense, however starting her own business in the 60´s made her one in my book.
A personal fond memory, is of Sylvia taking me to the Mercantile Club, to gain my membership. She confessed to not liking the taste of the Manhattan that she ordered, but liking the fact that it came with a side car
Cheers, Sylvia, and may we all be blessed with a "sidecar".

Donna and family, my condolences in your loss. She was such a kind lady when we used to do my mom and my hair many years ago before I became a hairdresser. And your dad used to do my dad and brothers hair too.
May you remember all the good times as you grieve her loss.

Ah, Sylvia, you were such a sweet lady and I thought you were much closer to my age of 77. Dear Donna and family, you have my condolences. I got to know Sylvia because Mike was my barber and I loved them both. She is now with Mike, may she rest in peace.
