Resa, you are in our hearts and most sincere prayers. We love you sooo much. Your mom got her wings. It does not get better than that. Please know that we're here for you and I will be calling to see when/where we will hang out and visit.

Resa,
We all have ties with loved ones, some near while others far. God holds them all together no matter where they are. His grip is ever spanning this world and Heaven too. Just know that as you're loving her, she's also loving you. You and your family are in our prayers.
We love you dearly,
Marilyn, Anthony, Marshaye and Alexis (your OTHER family)

The Davis Family of Dallas would like to express our sincere and deepest sympathy to the family of Lady Sylvia Welcher. Her daughter, Resa and family are very dear to our hearts. I can only imagine how wonderful she had to be to raise such a lovely daughter. We will continue to pray for each of you now and in the days to come. May the Holy Spirit comfort you and give you peace as only he can. With deepest sympathy - Eric, Candi and Drew Davis

As I remember my Aunt Sylvia, it is filled with loving memories. She was a true lady like Ms. Lena Horne. She was a pioneering woman who took the world by storm. She raised children, mentored family members, like myself, and was always accessible, loving and free of judgments. Her life was filled with God, her husband and the love she had for her family. I will always love, respect and honor this woman. She will be missed but we are blessed for having had her in our lives.

Auntie you are sencerely missed and loved in this lifetime. I am in belief that you have lived life to its fullest as you walked with God. The grave will not hold any of your talents as you chose to spend them with the world as you walked amongst us. May your soul be blessed as well as the family you left behind. Love you dearly.
