Age 73, of Pittsburgh, on Monday, March 17, 2014. Devoted daughter of the late Louis H. and Alice (Rick) Kern; loving sister of Trinette L. Kern; also survived by cousins, friends, and her pets. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, INC., 1008 Castle Shannon Boulevard, Castle Shannon, Sunday afternoon, March 23, 2014, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private. If desired, memorials may be made to Midwest Beagle Rescue, Education and Welfare, c/o Elaine Taillon, 943 Mirror Street, Pgh., PA 15217; Forever Home Beagle Rescue, 326 Bellbrook Street, Pgh., PA 15226; or your favorite Humane Organization.

Whenever I think of Tammy, I see a smiling face and a pleasant person. She was calm and quiet. I think of her with fond memories. I feel certain that she is enjoying the vision of God.

I am sorry about the loss of Tammy Kern, a good pediatric nurse who graduated from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Tammy was a special 11-7 employee. May she rest is peace.
