Tamye Berrong Jett

Tamye Berrong Jett, age 53, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Brown Berrong and her brother, Edwin C. "Eddie" Berrong. Survivors include her father, Charles "Bunny" Berrong and wife, Carolyn; children, Courtney Graves Hatcher, Dreama Michelle Jett and Douglas Jett, Jr; grandchildren, Athena and Hunter Hatcher; step-sisters, Karen Crutchfield and Kathy Grizzell; several nieces and nephews and many special family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in the Smith West Chapel with the service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Charlie Reynolds and Rev. Neil Silverberg officiating. A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
