Tanya Dionne Meade BRISTOL, Tenn. Tanya Dionne Meade, 29, passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident. Tanya was born Dec. 4, 1980, in Abingdon, Va., and was the daughter of Dean Edward Pope and Patricia Diana Price. She was a Class of '98 Tennessee High School graduate and was a child care provider at State Street United Methodist Church, where she was a member. She loved children; her own two boys were her life and together they enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing computer games. Tanya also liked making jewelry, listening to music, cats and dogs. Survivors are her mother and stepfather, Diana and Wayne Meade II; her father, Dean Pope; her sons, Trey Hodge and Donnie Moore of Bristol Tennessee; her sister, Mindy Wilborn and husband, Cory of Pensacola, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Don and Lois Price of Abingdon; paternal grandparents, Henson and Hazel Pope of Abingdon; step-grandparents, Wayne and Phyllis Meade of Bristol Tennessee; and a niece, Elyssa Wilborn. Funeral services for Tanya are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Dr. Gordon Goodgame officiating. Interment will follow at Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon. Pallbearers will be Bradley Rasnake, Cory Wilborn, Keith Hodge, Charlie Meade, Tony Roark and Barry Bailey. The family will receive friends at Farris Funeral Service from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010.
