Tara Hoepner Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 10, 2024.
Tara Hoepner, age 49, of New Berlin, WI, passed away on March 30, 2024. Tara was born on September 6, 1975, in West Allis, WI. She battled with Cadasil, a condition that also affected her brother, mother, and grandmother.

Tara was a spirited individual who lived life on her own terms. Starting at the age of 17, she pursued a career as a hairdresser and followed her entrepreneurial spirit. Described as fearless, motivated, and focused, Tara inspired her youngest brother, Trae Hoepner, with her determination. She had a love for laughter, dancing, and silliness.

Tara is preceded in death by her mother, JoDee (Zimmerman) Hoepner, her father, William Hoepner, and her brother, Travis Hoepner. She is survived by her brother, Trae Hoepner Sr.

Tara's Funeral Service will be held at Peace of Mind Funeral Home in West Milwaukee, WI, on April 11, 2024. Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by a short service at 5:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to https://curecadasil.org/.

Tara's passing will be deeply felt by those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her strength, independence, and ability to bring joy to those around her. May she rest in peace.

It has been a lifetime since I have seen Tara, but I do remember that she did have a beautiful smile. I remember a small and powerful person. Her smile shines on now may she rest in peace.
