Hello, It seems like yesterday that you would come in town and share your Freguson stories. I had great respect for your ability to raise and support all your children. Later, even more respect you earned as you cared for your loving wife and you hardly ever left her side in the days she needed you the most.

Papaw. I was thinkin about the video of the pictures that was shown at your funeral and how you lived a eventful life. With many kids and then us grandkids. Just makes me think of how now when I am starting my life now that I want it to be the same way. Always to havfe something to remember. I love you and miss you so much. It still dont seem real. I cant wait to see you again and meet my grandma. But watch over all of us and help guide us right. love you.

Papaw, It seems like yesterday when I came over to find you laying in the bed already gone to be with the Lord. I had never seen you look so peaceful. I can't believe it has already been a year. It has been so different living right next to you and seeing you everyday to not seeing you at all. It doesn't seem real I look out the door everyday expecting to see you in the yard,or me trying to beat you to the garden, But all I see when I look over is your truck and a lifetime of memories. Well Dad, bn a year yesterday...still so fresh in my mind. I just wanted to say I love and miss you so much!! It has been a year today sense you went to be with the Lord!! I know that was the saddest day of our lives but the happiest day of yours. To be joined with Jesus, Grandma, Donna, and all the rest that went to join you after you passed. I will one day meet up with you but until that day just know I do love and miss you more than words can say!!

Dad: Just wanted to say i mis you very much and love you.I know i didnt visit you as much as i should have,but that has nothing to do with the way i feel about you.I am sort of like Darrell,i looked at you as being the tree of life.Nobody was bigger or better then you.I took that feeling that i had about you and instilled it into myself.I wanted my kids and grandkids to look and feel about me,the way we looked up to you.I am just starting to scratch the surface about what you meant to me and my siblins.I have never seen a man be so strong as when i seen you the day we lost our mother and sister.You were right there by there side and told them it was ok to go and be with the Lord.I could go on and on but i need to get some tissue and wipe my eyes,love you and tell Mom,Donna and Buddy i love them and mis also.Sorry it took me so long to respond,i was just having a hard time doing so.

Papaw, it doesn’t seem that it’s been about a year since you have been gone. I guess I’ve put it out of my mind, being so far away. I know it’s harder on the ones that live close, going to your house expecting to see you on the porch or walking in the yard. I miss when you would come and get me to go pick up something or drop off something. Some of the best memories of my life where spent around you. When I was a child I felt so safe around you, it was like you were larger than life. Nobody could hurt you and I thought you would always be around, but it was your time to go be with grandma. She’s been waiting a long time to be in your arms. I’ll see you again.

Hello papaw, We all just left the park from the family reunion it went well this year but I guess you already know even though we have suffered so many losses this year we still had a good turn out. I was just setting here thinking about you!! You know it is getting closer and closer to June. Time for the reunion. It is going to be really difficult this year not having you there. I know you are in a better place and I will see you again one day but until then it's sad to know that we will be going to the cemetary not only to put flowers on mamaw's grave but to put them on yours. Papaw I'm sitting on the porch looking over at your house it's such a pretty day today and it seems so weird not seeing you out working in the garage or out in the yard. I took for granted that you would always be here it seems so unreal that you are gone. When I'm at your house things are still the same as always it feels like you are right there with us. I'm so happy about all the time we spent together we have so many happy memories, like all the time you, me and Haylea spent in the garden last summer, and canning all those tomatoes and cabbage. When you told me I had to take over the garden and learn how to can I had no idea that this was why. I'm glad I was there with you that morning to see how peaceful you looked it has helped me a lot to accept all this. don't worry I will take care of mamaw for you, and everything will carry on just the way you liked it. And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,

I miss you more than I can ever say!! I know one day we will all be together again. I will miss not having you at the reunion's. I know the reunion you just had in Heaven with my mamaw and Donna is so much greater than what we can ever have hear on Earth. Until we meet again. I love you and miss you!!!!

Please accept my sympathy in your loss.
I would like to be in touch with perhpas a sibling of Mr. Hutton. My great-grandmother was the sister of Jane Gibson Stewart Wells. I recall seeing Aunt Jane and T. Hutton Saylor several times when I was growing up in Kentucky.
