I am deeply saddened at the passing of Father Ted. We met many years ago and he helped when we visited Alberta from Nova Scotia. Fr. Ted took time to show us many places around Alberta. I have many fond memories of that trip and when we were able to show him around Nova Scotia. He allowed me to stay with him a second time to Alberta and I was able to spend a week at OLVC; at which I experienced something I would call a miracle. I always have a sense of peace whenever I think of him.
He has completed his mission here and is now with God. To his family; our prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. God Bless

I was saddened by the news that Fr. Ted had passed, but rejoiced in the knowledge that he had been called home to live with God and all of the angels. Although it has been a while since I saw him last, I remember him fondly as he had such an important impact on my life. He challenged us all to be our best and was always willing to give people a second and a third and a fourth chance to get things right.
He had such a good sense of humor and was such a selfless person. He was a true individual and did not waver in his faith. He was always there to offer a hug or words of wisdom and support.
I am glad to know that he is at peace and in the company of many wonderful people who have gone to heaven before him. It gives me solace to know that even in heaven he will be praying for and watching over us. I wish to offer my condolences to his family and friends.God Bless.

Our condolences to Father Ted's family He was a great friend for years. He baptized my husband, then married us, as well as baptizing all 4 of our children, He was a great friend, keeping us always on track with Marriage Encounter and always good suggestions in our prayer life and parenting. He was special to our children especially at OLVC and we will always be grateful for his presence in our lives. He will be missed but I know he will be welcomed in heaven.

My sincerest sympathies to Fr. Ted's family and all who loved him. He touched and changed so many young lives. He always saw the best in us even when we couldn't see it for ourselves. Thank you Fr. Ted, may you truly rest in peace.

Father Ted was a man skilled at discovering and calling forth the gifts people had for the reign of God. And once he discovered a gift he wouldn't let anyone waste it. I remember with fondness and appreciation the many years we worked together at OLVC to share the good news with children and teens from all parts of Alberta and sometimes beyond. What a vision Father Ted had and how faithfully he kept working to empower others to take over year after year as the catechists and counsellors. Many of you have become adults and are raising your families with the values you learned and developed at camp. This the best witness to his life. Another witness some of you gave him was the unique licence plate: OLVC 1. Finally we witness to his life by our efforts to "love life and live it to the fullest".
Now the angels and saints are welcoming Father Ted home to Jesus with joy and celebration. What a campfire that will be!! There he will continue to help us even more than he already has when we ask him to pray for us.
Love and prayers,
(Sister) Ruth

Sending our condolences to Fr. Ted's family in Vegreville, since that is where we got to know him thru OLVC. Our sons gave their lives to Jesus at camp and I pray it continues in Fr. Ted's memory for many more years.
Your journey has reached it's reward; meeting Jesus and God the Father.

Fr. Ted was a man who changed a lot of young peoples lives. He started OLVC and never really realized how many people he would and still today have impacted. I have a great deal of memories of him and can only say the greatest thing I can take from knowing Fr. Ted was that he taught me how to be a better person by being myself and not changing for other people. I was a floater and later a Team member at OLVC and got to spend time getting to know him. I have spent a great of my life at camp and now I hope to continue his hope for camp by sending my children. He will truly missed by all who knew him.

I remember Father Ted today with thanksgiving and gratitude for his work out at OLVC for it was there that I first learned to pray. My favorite memory of him is his reading "The meanest mother in the world" after communion- Eternal rest grant unto him, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

Fr. Ted ... My Friend and Mentor. We shared the gift of laughter, tears and everything in between. Fr. Ted was there for me through some very hard times and for that I am forever grateful. Fr. Ted gave me the nickname "The Nut". The days at Ephphatha were made easier by Fr. Ted's leadership and support for me.
Blessed Mary and her Son the Creator have welcomed you home Father. Peace Be With You .... Choirs of Angels Rejoice your name.

My condolences on the loss of Fr. Ted. I met him when I was a teen attending OLVC and we stayed in touch for almost 20 years, losing contact only a couple years ago. He was a passionate man of God and touched many lives.
Eternal rest, grant unto him, O Lord, and may your perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

We wish to send our condolences. Fr. Ted has held a very special place in our lives since we moved to Trochu in 1963 but especially since 1970. We loved him very much and have prayed for him for many years and daily since the beginning of the year of the priest.
