He was born on Nov. 11, 1924, at Wenonah, N.J., to the late Charles Wesley "C.W." Titus Sr. and Jessie Havens Titus.
Ted retired in 1988 after 40 years of service in the insurance business, as well as being the owner/operator of the Teddy Bear Snowball ice cream truck he ran with his wife and children.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen Rieker Titus, whom he married Oct. 10, 1953; sons, David Titus and wife Verlyn of Jacksonville, Daniel Titus and wife Manda of Kennesaw, Ga., and Donald Titus and wife Julia of Hamden, Conn.; a daughter, Esther Chapman and husband Dave of Hot Springs, Ark.; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Aug. 27, 1 p.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Ark., by Fuller Funeral Services.
