I haven't seen Ted since high school. He was an excellent football player and wrestler. I was pround to be on the same team with him. I didn't have a lot of contact with him, but it was enough to know he would turn out to be a fine human being as these memorials testify. I wish I could have gone fishing with him. I share your loss.

We wanted to first of all thank everybody for all your support and prayers. My dad has so many wonderful friends and family. Thank you for being a part of his life.

There's not enough time in the day to share everything that's wonderful and beautiful about my dad - I wouldn't know where to begin and I'd have a hard time finding an end.

As Father and Daughter - growing up we were two peas in a pod. Besides being the best father in the world - he was also my mentor, coach, and best friend. What a wonderful, happy life he provided for me . . . .

He is also the best grandpa around (aka Papa Ted). His grandson, Jeter had 10 wonderful years of special moments and memories with his grandpa.

We will miss you more than you will ever know but thankfully you won't be too far cause we hold you so close in our hearts.

Love, Karrie, Zach & Jeter Noyes

Dear Dad,

Just wanted to let you know that having you in my life was like having a wish come true.

You are a blessing and a miracle. You are my guiding light. You are a reminder that everything is all right.

There are times when the one thing that helps me get through the day . . is thinking of you.

You bring happiness to me when the world seems to be wearing a frown. When things don't quite go as planned and my world seems upside down, my thoughts of you help to set things right again.

You are so important to me. You make me think, you make me laugh, you make me feel alive. You put things in perspective for me. You always provided support and encouragement, you lessen my worries, and you increase my joys.

There is a resolve and an inner reserve of strength in you that few ever get to see. So quiet, soft-spoken - never one to judge - always the first to give you the benefit of the doubt. You have such a big heart and a beautiful and sensitive soul.

You are one of those ever-so-perfect feelings that always feels so much at home in my heart.

Thank you for every memory and each little moment you have given me.

Every day . . . I think of you. And I've got a million smiles to prove it.

I will always and forever Love You and Miss You, Dad.

Love - Karrie

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

We are sadden for you to have to say goodbye to Ted. I am sure he no longer feels pain, as I heard he had suffered! I loved watching the video of pictures and the music that went with them on his obituary! We will not be able to attend his visitation due to a prior commitment. We will have great memories of him as Jerry's younger brother. I am so glad that Joan and Jerry got to spend time with him earlier in the week! Sincerely, Steve and Janice "Jan" Dixon (Jo's sister)
