Ms. Tequila Montelle Smith, age 36, departed this life on Friday, September 22, 2017.
Surviving relatives include her father, Levi Hannah; children, Antonio Cameron, Zakeeyah Cameron, Lazayrea Smith, Ronald Leathers and Naema Leathers; granddaughter, Sy-mone Bass; grandmother, Cora Mae Smith Douglas; Natasha Smith; uncle, John Smith; aunt, Frances Smith.
Funeral service will take place on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1007 South Roxboro Street, Durham, NC 27707, beginning at 12:00 noon. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
Professional services are entrusted to Scarborough and Hargett Celebration of Life Center, Inc. Online condolences may be expressed at scarboroughandhargettfh.com
