I have lost both beloved brother and friend. His passion for life, his love of family and friends, his honesty and integrity, his sense of humour, his great teaching ability, his inventive genius, his respect for the planet, his sense of justice, wonder, responsisbility and fairplay only scratch the surface of the many attributes I will miss but always remember.

Dear June,
Thanks to Lois Purdy Martin I heard about Terry's unfortunate death tonight. My thoughts are with you. I remember the school years when I first met Terry. He always seemed so cheerful. So sorry to hear about his illness and will think of you. One thing I know is that Terry's visits to my uncle Loyal Thomson were much appreciated. He enjoyed chatting with Terry about many topics and enjoyed the stimulation of his visits. My thoughts are with you and Terry's friends and family. I recognize many familiar names from the guest book. How the years have sped by! The last time I saw you and Terry was at the Thurso School reunion. Thinking of you.

One of the hardest working men I ever met. Put in thousands of extra hours at school and touched the lives of many students and co-workers. Nice to see he never lost his sense of humour or biting opinions on life.
