Teresa De Jesus Andrade

Our amazing mother, Teresa De Jesus Andrade, was born on October 24, 1943. She returned to her Heavenly home Thursday night, November 19, 2015 surrounded by us, her sons and daughters.

Our mom joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1978. Because of her decision, her father, her sisters, and her posterity eventually came to join and partake of the blessings of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. She went on to spend her whole life dedicated to Heavenly Father and her Savior, Jesus Christ. The fruits and blessings of our mothers steadfastness and commitment to work in God's kingdom will trickle down to the many generations that came before and after her.

She will be remembered for the many she served and for constantly sharing her powerful testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. She knew that we lived with God before we came to this earth and while here worked tirelessly to make sure she did His work. She knew that this life was not the end of our existence and taught us about the purpose of our life here on earth and where we go after we die. We know that our mother has been joyously reunited with the many family and friends who have passed before her and that she is happy beyond measure. We hold her in our hearts and know that we will see her again.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Antonina, and her father, Miguel. She is survived by her husband, Jaime, her children, Steve, Terry, Moises and Perla, her grandchildren, Tiffany, Alexia, Justine, Zoe, Leah, Jakob, Levi, Samantha, Sophia and Nicholas.

Please join us in celebrating the life of the greatest woman we have ever known. Funeral services will take place on December 1, 2015 at 10:00am at the LDS Van Nuys Stake Center at 15555 Saticoy St. 91406. Burial will follow at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, California.
