Michele, When I think of your mom I think of how everything she made was done so perfectly, so beautifully, and with such thought and ease. Her cooking was the best ever and her sewing was exquisite and she did it all without effort as if it just was so easy for her. She was always so kind and loving to all in her family and she will be so missed by so many. I loved the photos of you and Michael and the joy you brought to her is obvious. I loved her and will miss her tremendously. With love, Nancy Glass-Quattrin

Thinking of Zia

Zia Teresina made me very happy. I loved to visit and spend time in her garden. She always offered coffee and cookies, but ultimately - her love. Zia Teresina will be very missed by me. There are many memories we shared, especially on Oakmoor. I will miss her and Zio Toni at the old house. Easters were a blast for me as a child knowing I could play the piano, see Zio Toni (in the "cat room") and cousin Michele. We are blessed to not only know Zia, but to have had her love that is everlasting.

To cousin Michele - Zia was a wonderful aunt and I'm sure from the love I received as a niece, she was a wonderful mother.

To cousin Mikey- I am sorry your Nonna passed away recently, but remember: we are very lucky to have had Nonnas! There is no bigger cheerleader than them. They will always root for us and be our guardians.

I hope Zia rests in peace. I will miss her.

Teresa was high energy, very social and always eager to contribute her talents to the family.
Family vacations to the beach and visits to Oakmore Drive were highlights of our summers. Happy times and great food are among our best memories and we are thankful. Mary Ann and Hermann Goeppele

Today we celebrated a life well lived by a courageous and loving woman, my mom Teresa Quattrin. There are so many wonderful memories I have of her, that it is difficult to single out just one. I remember our annual vacations to Aptos, our trips to Italy, Argentina, and Canada, our shopping and lunch dates. She was not only my mom but she was my best friend, the one that I could go to when I needed a pep talk or I just wanted to vent about life. She was always there to listen and give me guidance and her unconditional love. I will miss her very much.

My mom taught me many lessons during our time together. Even as she faced the end of her life she left me with an amazing perspective. A few weeks ago, over our tea cup conversations, I asked her if there were any regrets she had in life. Something that she wished she could have done but didn't get the chance. She responded with no, regrets. I did what I loved to do. I loved to sew and I was able to do that for many years. I shared my life with a loving husband and family. Love is everything and when you have found it, life is a wonderful journey. Love brings us into this world and love is what brings us home.

Rest in peace Mom, I love you!

Dear Michele, Ron, and Mike:

We are all very sad that Grandma passed away. She devoted her life to others. I have many memories of her when I was a kid, and the photos I viewed on this site made me think of even more.

A trip to Oakmore Drive always resulted in me gaining at least 5 lbs, as I ate peaches, pancakes, antipasto, soup, ravioli, salad, chicken, and countless other things. When I was 8 years old, I had this odd idea that my teddy bears should have clothes, and rather than talk me out of such an absurd idea, she made them--not just one outfit, but several. I still have those bears, remarkably, tucked away in my closet.

She and Grandpa were always kind and helpful to me, my wife Linda, and our 3 kids, whether adopted or natural. They visibly enjoyed kids--you could just see it in their faces when they were around them.

We will always miss Grandma.

Dear Michele, Ron, Mike, Maryann, John and family:

We mourn the passing of Zia Teresina, who will always be remembered for her great warmth, kindness and hospitality. The photos you have posted are a testament to a life well lived. Her strength as she faced her later years has been an inspiration to all of us. May she rest in peace.
