Thinking of you mom and missing you and dad very much! I love you both so very much and wish I could hug you both. But physically I can't so I ask the Lord to hug you both for me. In the meantime while we wait to see you again, just know you will both live on in our hearts and minds forever. Love you forever and forever I will love you my angels.

Today is September 24th and I'm feeling a little anxious. Tomorrow is when we say "farewell for now" to our mom Teresa Vasquez. My heart has been so heavy this week, as I have had my mom, sisters and brother on my mind constantly. I pray for my brother Danny, my sisters Judy, Denice and Lisa, as I know that their hearts are as heavy as mine. We all miss our mom and feel such sadness. But at the same time we have the joy of knowing that our mom is now with the Lord. She's home in her mansion in the heaven's. What more could we ask for...knowing that our mom is with the Lord gives me so much peace. Thank you momma for being the best momma in the world. Thank you dad for being the best daddy in the world. I am thankful my Tia Regina Campabasso too. She is our rock, our prayer warrior. I know my Tia is just as sad as we are because my mom and my Tia were like best friends. Lord, watch over all of us as we face this journey and help us to remember that you are with us. Carrying us when we need to be carried and always walking right beside us. I thank the Lord for all of our other friends and family as well. My mom treasured all of you! Until next time, let us all be strong in the Lord and remember that tomorrow is also a celebration of our beautiful mom's life. Love you momma! Your daughter, Gina Antoinette

There are no words to describe the loss I feel, the emptiness in my heart that will never be filled. Even finding the words to describe the kind of mom you were, there are not enough. One way I can describe you, is just to look at my sisters and brother. Our children and grandchildren, the over pouring love and respect we have for each other. You and dad made us what we are today and our beautiful families. I couldn't be prouder to be your daughter or as you called me, "your baby" I'll love you forever mommy and miss you even more but I know I'll see you again one day. Until then, keep dancing with Jesus..
Love your baby, Elisa Christine Vasquez

A poem I wrote for Grandma Terry (February 2015) called A Better Tomorrow:
A better tomorrow is on the horizon,
Where the sun shines brighter and the flowers bloom.
Standing at the end of the road,
The sun begins to set in a majestic haze,
Blending in shades of purple, pink and gold.
As I stand with both arms stretched by my side,
I lift my chin.
Allowing the sun to kiss my cheeks,
I accept the cool gentle breeze as it embraces me whole.
As the wind pulls back my hair,
Running through the strands,
I begin to feel a peace.
A peace between two worlds,
Of night and day and dark and light.
While I stand at the end of the road,
I realize that I had then began to accept the two worlds.
Feeling the warmth in my heart of the road I have traveled.
Yet I find myself here looking to the horizon,
Anticipating a fresh beginning prepared to run with the wind.
A better tomorrow is on the horizon,
And I am ready.

Words can't express the emptiness I feel right now. You think you're ready but I guess your Heart never is... You were the most beautiful, compassionate, unconditional loving woman I will ever have in my lifetime. You are and have always been an Angel to me and I'm a better man for having you in my life. Thank you for being my "Mommy, Mama & Mom"...something I've ALWAYS been proud to call you!

Thinking of my mom right now. She doesn't leave my mind. Today has been very difficult, find myself just dazing. Thinking and thinking of my mom and dad. I went outside this morning to water my garden and when I was done I looked up to the sky. I thanked God for being by my side. I started talking to my mom and dad. I miss them both so much. The thoughts and prayers of my family and friends mean the world to me and my family. We cannot thank you enough for your encouragement and kind words. Just know that we all sincerely appreciate each and every one of you. I know my mom is thankful too. Love you all and God bless you.

My precious momma, I miss you so much and love you with all my heart. As heartbroken and sad as I am that you are no longer with us. I am joyful that you are no longer suffering and are in heaven with the love of your life, our precious dad. That is what gives me comfort to know you are no longer lonely for dad. I know you missed him and you were tired and ready, because you always told us. We are so proud of you mom, you were always a woman of grace and dignity. You left us knowing how proud you were of us and how much you loved us. You told us we were beautiful and your words of kindness always made my day. Today, yes, I am very sad and just feeling a little empty, my heart aches from the pain of loss. I can't touch and kiss your hands anymore, I can't kiss your forehead and cheeks and that makes me cry. I want to touch you and hug you but I can't. But I will again someday mom, guaranteed, I WILL see you and dad again. Love you mommy! Your daughter, Gina
