Teri Daves

Teri Daves, most recently of Simi Valley, California passed away peacefully on her birthday, September 28, at the age of 90.

Teri grew up in Manhattan Beach, California. She and her husband Don later lived in Glendale, Hancock Park, Newport Beach and Newbury Park.

Teri graduated from Marymount High School in Los Angeles and attended USC. She worked as a draftsperson for Douglas Aircraft, a fashion model for various organizations, as well as a travel agent for 15 years, which enabled her and Don to indulge their passion for travel all over the world. Teri was also known for her love of animals, especially her many Boxer dogs and even her well-known pig, Wilbur!

Teri is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Don Daves, her brother Bill Farrell, sister Jeni Bobbitt, brother-in-law Brent Daves, and nephew Larry Daves.

She is survived by her daughters Torie and Toni, grandchildren Kathleen and Kimberly, their spouses and significant others Robert, Brad, Matthew and Cadence, as well as great-grandson Luke.

Also mourning her loss are her sisters-in-law Gretchen Farrell and Mary Daves, as well as brother-in-law Ed Bobbitt, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Teri will always be remembered as someone who brought love, humor, fun and adventure into everyone's lives. She will be so deeply missed.
