My condolences to the family i first noticed teri in young Frankenstein and loved her smile and passion she had eyes that caught my attention they way she moved her eyes Mae bush had the same power with the eyes. That was her signature and I just had a stroke last year and can't walkbut I'm going to stay strong like Teri did and hope for better days she will be missed deeply shewas a boomer like me she is my generation

I have Been a fan of Terri since I was a young boy and first saw her appear on an episode of Star Trek an became an even more devoted fan after seeing her perform in Young Frankenstein, Tootsie, Mr. Mom, and close encounter of the 3rd kind. Not only was she a talented actress but a very Beautiful woman who had a gift for making people smile and laugh. As who also suffers from M.S. I admired the way she became a spokesperson for M.S. research and ^wish I could have contacted her to thank her for her support M.S. causes. You will be missed, but never forgotten and will always be our M.S. Warrior Queen.

She was my favorite actress - she always made the screen light up. I got to see Young Frankenstein before it was released in theatres since my Dad attended USC film school. I remembered her from a Star Trek episode that she was so adorable in that she felt like she could be my friend. Relatable that is what Teri was to me from early childhood to a woman of 58. I will miss her amazing laugh and smile. Her roles as a dancer in Elvis movies and tv shows are so numerous it is almost like a game finding her in these great movies. Rest Teri your family and fans loved you to bits. I won't forget you and the best advice from one of her books to me was 'never be a bottom feeder - you rely on yourself and no one has any power over you' I am loosely quoting a line from her book but that was very meaningful to me because it is what my father told me as well.

Our condolences to Teri's loved ones. We always enjoyed her films, most especially "Young Frankenstein". Many decades ago, I was a few feet away from her when she literally bounded out of a restaurant and stood there looking around at each of us seated at the sidewalk tables. She smiled and made eye contact with each person there, (maybe a dozen of us) then she was joined by her friend and they went on their way. We are sorry for her suffering so with her health concerns. The only condolence is that she is no longer suffering. We miss her terribly; I was instantly moved to tears when the news came across the t.v. the other day. She will always be loved by her fans. Thank you all for sharing her with us. We wish you peace and strength.

I was so sorry to hear about Teri Garr's passing. What a tremendous actress and I loved her in so many roles over the years. In the movie "Tootsie", she had what I consider the best and most funny line in the movie when she turns to Dustin Hoffman's character after a major fight and breakup, grabs the box of chocolates he brought as a peace offering, and says "Are these REAL chocolate covered cherries??", before storming out and slamming the door with the chocolates in hand. Makes me crack up every time. I was so sorry to hear of her more recent health struggles, and sending thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.

I´m very sadden to hear of Teri´s earthly departure. She was a beautiful amazingly talented gifted actress and dancer. I loved her movies especially Mr Mom! Teri had perfect natural comedic timing and such a genuine laughter and smile! I know MS, I was diagnosed in 2002 myself and know how painful the struggles are, but like Teri, we´re both fearless fighting warriors, and I know in my heart Teri was to the very end! She gave her voice and cleared the pathway for others with MS. Thank you Teri for touching my heart!

I just read the sad news that Teri Garr has died. She was funny, beautiful,
amazing and played each role she took with perfection. I saw her in Mr. Mom,
Tootsie, Oh! God and Young Frankenstein and I think she was a nurse in some early episodes of MASH. I own her biography Flooring it through Hollywood.
