Terrence Murphy Obituary
Born September 4, 1943, in Cleveland, to Harry and Agnes (Quail) Murphy, Terry's life was marked by dedication to his family, his education, and his work. He graduated from Gilmour Academy before pursuing higher education at the University of Notre Dame. His academic journey continued with a master's degree from John Carroll University.
He held a profound respect for his former wife, Carol Hannafey, who remained a cherished presence in his later years. He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Katherine (Phil) Van Dyke; stepdaughter, Laura Bishop; stepson, Bret (Jill) Tomford; and children, Ryan (Jenny) Murphy, Sean Murphy, Casey Murphy, and Karey (Jeffrey) Geisinger. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Indigo, Chris, Zachary, Ethan, Zoë, Emma, Steven, Seamus, Michael, Marigold, Henry, John, and Alice.
A memorial will be held in Cleveland to remember Terry's life and memory.
May the memory of Terry bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
