I am very sad to know that Terry has left all of us alone here on earth and started heavenly journey.
I could not believe this.
I had very valuable and important time spent with Terry. Many beautiful memories are there.
He was so much helpful and accommodative.
I pray GOD to give strength to you, Maya, to handle this critical & delicate situation and pray that his Soul Rest In Peace.

I just attended our 46th Wisconsin Lutheran High School reunion, and there on a table were pictures of our deceased classmates. I saw Terry's picture and was deeply saddened by this revelation. I went to grade school, and high school with Terry. Worked with him at Town Pride custard stand, golfed with him, and he was my good friend from school days. I remember his love of music when he would play his brother's albums (when Dennis wasn't around) Jethro Tull, Black Sabath etc. I was a Beach Boys fan, so as a friend I acted like it was cool music. Terry would come to my house in high school and play Sheephead, he wasn't a great card player, but he sure gave it his best. I remember Terry for his intelligence, he was a very smart guy, with a great sense of humor. Even though we went didn't stay in touch after school I will quote a line from Star Trek. You (Terry) will always be my friend! My sympathies to his family and friends.

Terry was an intelligent, talented man who had much to share with the world. Over the years, I witnessed him softening and his heart growing larger and more inclusive, embracing many people. I believe his love for Maya was instrumental in this transformation. Maya has that effect on people. We had planned to pick Maya up from the airport and to get together while Maya is here. It´s heart-breaking that those plans changed. Terry will be missed.

I remember lots of evenings in the balcony watching Maya and Allie at gymnastics with Terry. He was so proud of you Maya! It was fun to see him around town volunteering and enjoying fun events when the gymnastic days were over. The memories of your fun times together will always be with you and he will always have a special place in your heart!

I am so very sorry for your loss. The sadness you feel will fade with time, and happy memories will take their place. Thank you for sharing the pictures :)

Maya, So Sorry for the loss of your father. I will always remember him as the gentle and kind soul that he was.

Being so close in age, I was never Susie Schaefer in high school (Wisco). I was always Terry Schaefer's little sister. Never minding walking in his shadow, and always proud to be associated with his popularity and gift of gab (especially with the girls!!). I will always hold you in my heart and cherish the fond memories of happier times. My love goes out to Maya and Wasabi, who gave my brother such unconditional love, happiness, and companionship.

A donation has been made to the Animal Humane Society in Minnesota in memory of your dad.
