Terry Bauer Obituary
He was born on March 21, 1946, in Chicago, the son of the late Eugene and Elizabeth Bauer.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty "B.J." Brockmeier Bauer; three children: Andrew, and Kerri, Bauer of Scottsdale, Ariz., Jonathan, and Meggan, Bauer of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Ann, and Michael, Westley of San Diego, Calif.; two grandsons: Mason Bauer and Miles Bauer; a brother: Michael, and Sue, Bauer of Libertyville; a sister: Betsy, and Harold, McCracken of Madera, Calif.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Larry, and Sue, Hepler of Edwardsville; and by nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Herbert and Ann Brockmeier.
Mr. Bauer was a graduate of Maine East High School and Bradley University. He was co-owner of Bauer Equipment and Supply Company in Mundelein.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, June 25, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 West Park Avenue, in Libertyville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., on Thursday, June 26, at Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 32475 Alleghany Road, Grayslake, Ill., 60030.
Memorials may be made to the Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Prayer service and interment will be at 10 a.m., on Friday, June 27, at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville.
Burnett-Dane Funeral Home in Libertyville is in charge of arrangements.

Betty and Family, I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your husband, Terry on the internet in the Edw. Intel. After learning that we lived only 2 hours apart at our 10th reunion, I was going to contact you but somehow never did. We should not take time for granted. Terry has left this life suddenly, but he will live on in my memory of our childhood adventures at Lake Geneva, the free roaming "band of cousins"--watching fireworks, swimming, collecting fireflies and later playing basketball against each other in high school. I wish peace for the entire Bauer family.
