Terry Anthony Catlett

Terry Catlett was a retiree from the Louisiana Department of Corrections, having worked as a corrections officer for 25 years at Angola State Prison. Co-owner of Pointe Coupee Janitorial Service, he died Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 12, 2008, at his home in Fordoche. He was 55 and a native of Morganza. Visiting at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Morganza, on Thursday, Aug. 14, from noon until religious service at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Lee. Interment in St. Ann's Cemetery. Survived by his wife of 36 years, Gloria Cashio Catlett, of Fordoche; daughter and a son-in-law, Michelle and Jeff Myers, of Lake Charles; son, Jonathan Catlett, of Fordoche; sister, Barbara Olinde, of Glynn; and brother, Donald Catlett, of Addis. Preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Wilma LeCoq Catlett; sister, Faye Catlett; and brother, Elvin "Red" Catlett. Pallbearers will be Lance Catlett, Jeremy Catlett, Nicholas Catlett, Michael Olinde, Johnny Montelaro, Sam Montelaro, Michael Hart and Jeremy Guerin.
