I worked with Terry for about 4 years. I was a customer but he always treated me as a friend. He had a warm and friendly personality and wonderful smile that always made you feel good. He always made sure that you got what you needed, even when it put him out a bit. He helped me in my job by giving me a tour of the printing facility and always put me in contact with people to help answer any questions that I had. He would personally deliver our order just to be able to chat with me a while. I missed Terry from the first day he had to leave LJS/Oakcreek and I will always remember him when I have future contacts with Oakcreek and their staff. I never knew his family but he spoke of them to me and I could tell he loved them very much and that he loved to spend time with them.

Sincerely, Julie Watson

I lived in Lincoln from 1990-2005, and was a member of the Lincoln Cribbage League on and off from 1992 through this past league season. I still remember the shock of the news of Terry's illness from the night it was announced at league.

Terry was a fabulous person and I enjoyed his sincerity and sense of humor. I'll never forget his wonderful smile and easy laugh. His love of life and of his family was always obvious. He was a refreshing change of pace from the world-at-large.

I miss Terry tremendously, and will always remember him with great fondness. I am far richer for having known him, and my heart goes out to his family.

Jean,

We're so very sorry to hear about Terry. Steve & I are going to miss talking with him when he would be out mowing behind the pine trees! He'd always stop to say "Hi" and just chat. His illness and death were truly a shock to us and his friendly and neighborly ways will be missed. If there is anything we can do to help out, please knock on our door.
