Terry was born on November 17, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio and died at his home in Woodhaven on November 17, 2017 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of 48 years to Joan. Loving dad of David (Mandy), Jeffrey (Tara Sherwin-Cole) and Daniel (Nicole). Proud grandpa of Samantha, Sydney, Benjamin, Katelyn, Olivia, Lincoln and Charlie. Brother of Janet "Gigi", Steven and Susan. Also survived by other family and friends. He will be missed by his dog Libby. Preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Jeannette (nee: Perry) Cole. There is a gathering on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 2 pm unitl 4 pm with a Time of Sharing Service Monday at 4 pm and an Honor Guard Service Monday 4:30 pm all at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Click on the multimedia tab to view Terry's video tribute.

I remember Terry so well. He was a great guy. Very loving husband & father & grand-father. He always treated me with respect & always, always had kind words to say to me. I just found out today (11-20-17) of his passing or I would have attended his funeral. My prayers & loving thoughts are with him & his family. He was one of the great one's.
