I had the opportunity to meet Mr, Dowd (Terry) while working at the P. C Country Club where he and his son Paul would play a round of golf. I worked in the halfway house where I have so many fond memories like that infectious smile that would light up the room with warmth and laughter. Always a joke to tell and and a smile to leave. I am so sorry for your loss, Terry was one of a kind. A wonderful man. I will Never forget you Terry. Sleep well.

I worked with Terry at Skyservice Airlines. We flew several trips together and eventually he became my boss when I joined the training department. We also did an A330 simulator course together. Through it all he conducted himself professionally, treated others with respect and above all else, he made every day at work fun.

Jean, my condolences to you and your family. May he rest in peace.

So very sad to hear the news of the passing of Uncle Terry, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jean, Shannon, Paul, Grant and your whole family during this very difficult time.

I will never forget your dads face when this skinny, frightened 20 something girl, I think 1976 or 77, looking for Uncle Bill and Aunty Ada's house in Florida opened the door of the house. I asked this person if the house might by chance be Bill and Ada's. He said yes and opened the door. I saw Uncle Bill and ran crying into his arms. I had been lost for quite some time. Uncle Bill didn't recognize me. He's shaking his head at Terry behind me and thank goodness for Aunty Ada came running out of the kitchen and said its Jacqueline. All was right with the world and Terry and I had a a great visit and a connection after that. I have never forgotten that first meeting. Terry and , of course, Bill and Ada were so good to me.
