Me and Terry saw The Big Chill together in Knoxville a long, long time ago. Watching that movie was a special experience....can't really explain it...a great movie to remind a person of how special good old friends are. Yep, like us.
Terry convinced me not to marry the football player. That may have been valuable advice, but still I wonder what the divorce settlement might have been.
Terry attended my piano recital in 1982, my only guest. I was 20 years older than most the other "pianists". Terry agreed to go with me: never asked the first question about the situation and wasnt embarrassed. I even think he might have even enjoyed himself. He never asked about another recital, though.
Terry Enos, Ace Davis, Chuck Lyles, Mike Crockett, Eddie Rozzell you cute, sweet boys. Didnt we have some fun together? Didnt we love each other? Oh, for just one day together again, back then. What great fun that would be to be back then knowing what we know now. I loved you then. I love you now.
Terry Enos was my friend. I first met him 50 years ago last saw him about 15 years ago. I will always smile when I remember certain goofy, stupid things and shake my head over not so goofy things. I will never forget him, just as I know he would never forget me.
