Terry always had a smile and an empathetic ear for her friends, her co-workers, and for each and every passenger on all the flights we worked together. We shared lots of laughs on many, many day trips to Ottawa in the late 90's with Canadian Airlines. I think our last flight together was to Honolulu, I'm so glad we spent the layover together walking along the beach and talking endlessly.
For a couple of years Terry and I were neighbours in downtown Calgary; this picture shows her in April of '97, sharing a laugh and some "refreshiments" and helping to make my first house a home.
Although we lost touch in the last few years, I have wonderful memories of Terry and will never forget her kind and generous spirit.
Deepest condolences to Terry's partner and family.

Hi, Sweetie,
Terry, I miss our long conversations, through these difficult years. You always maintained that comical twist to your trials and tribulations. I miss sharing your and your father's passion for airplanes, especially that PWA model we both cherished. You loved to travel and saw much of the world. There's only one place you missed, the Taj Mahal, and now you can see it all.
We always talked of spending the summer in my garden weeding and drinking wine together, but you were never well enough. Now, I have coffee with you every morning in the garden, and I know you are there with me. Love you, miss you
For you Terry
Rest in peace and do not fear
For out of the darkness will appear
A host of angels drawing near
And as you reach that distant light
Friends and family will come in sight
To ease you to a new domain
Free of suffering and all pain
Let them guide you to a place
Until we join you in eternel grace

Although it has been years since I have seen Terry, she has always been close in thoughts. The memories I hold of the years Terry and I flew together out of Edmonton are nothing but fond. My husband was a passenger agent at that time and also knew Terry. They always had a joke or two to share. I know family, friends and sports (ball) were a big part of Terry's life. She always had a good word to say about all of the above. She will truly be missed, as she was one to leave a lasting impression in each and every person she met.
Our deepest sympathy,
Tanda and Brad Wynn

I was very saddened to read this announcement. I knew Terry during my time at Canadian North. In the course of one's life we meet thousands of people, but only a few have the ability to leave a lasting impression. Terry was one of those people, with a genuine smile and a fun-loving attitude. My thoughts and prayers are with her, her family, and her friends.

Terry and and I flew the North for many years. Terry was always to me, a beautiful, wonderful person who spent more time trying to be warm and heplful than needing. I have not seen her in some years as I have been flying out of YVR and am now retired, but I will miss her. Bless her!.

I will never forget that I would always get to fly with Terry just before my husband's work Christmas party. I always had to shop for a dress for the party while on layover and Terry always got to see it and make her comments on it. This must have happened 4 years in a row. She said I only flew with her so she could give me her opinion on the dress for that year.
