Terry was one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He was always so cheerful, smiling, and ready to hand out a hug. My life was blessed by knowing Terry and being able to call him friend. I have many memories of our years together in high school, memories I will always cherish dearly. My deepest condolences to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of loss. May you find comfort from the Lord and your memories of Terry. He will be missed by many because he touched so many lives in such a positive way.

Terry hired me as his personal trainer at Quincy Roberts' ELITE FITNESS CENTER on High Point Road for a few years.
I met him through his Mom while she was working out at the fitness center. Quincy and I did a feature story on them on our
Public Broadcasting program, THE FITNESS Q. They would work out together, Mother and Son prior to working out with me.
Terry shared many stories with me about his family and friends during our workouts.
He will be missed at ELITE FITNESS CENTER by myself and other members.
With affection, Diane Mumford

Terry was like a big brother to me all through high school, especially since he hung out with my big brother, Darryl. He was constantly at our house or Darryl at his. We missed you and your family greatly when you moved and you will be missed even greater now. Our entire family hopes that God gives your family the comfort and guidence that only he can provide in a time like this.
We will pray for you.

I grew up with Terry and have often thought of him.
He always had a big smile and the heart to match it.
You were like a brother to me.
Many times we played softball in the front of the yard not saying you were always fair in the games (smile) but you could always get away with that.
Not to mention.... the WWF moves you'd try out never knew when you or Jeff would try a new one on us.
I will miss you.
My prayers are with your family.

I first met Terry in Captain Burrow's Aerospace class in high school. He and Chris Levy were always trying to convince me they were brothers, and to this day I don't think they ever told me any different. Terry was always joking and laughing and making us laugh. He was just so much fun to be around, and he always had a hug for me. You had to love him. I so wished he would have come to our 20th year reunion. I hope your family finds the peace that only God can give you. Terry will be missed.

Terry,
You were a friend to me and a hero to my boys, Jacob, Payne and Elijah. We'll all miss you greatly, but only until we see you again in Heaven. God wanted you home. We can't be selfish and keep you here. We can now all carry you with us in our hearts and minds. You left here knowing that I will always take care of your sister and our boys.

We knew Terry for many years throught his mother, step-father and sister. Most of our time with him was spent talking about football and food. We are thinking of the family with sympathy in prayers and wishes for God's granting time's peace and love's memories to help ease the sorrow in their hearts over the lose of Terry.
