TERRY LAMBETH Obituary

HIGH POINT — Mr. Terry Ronald Lambeth, Sr. 68, of Johnson Road, passed away early Friday morning, May 10, 2013 at his home.

Born on September 8, 1944 to Robert Rutherford and Bessie Miller Lambeth, he had made his home in Davidson County for his entire life. He was a truck driver for Trinity Transport and was a member of New Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. His hobbies were farming and raising cattle, NASCAR and he enjoyed visiting McDonalds in High Point and Thomasville, and he loved to just get out and "joy ride". He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Tonya Lambeth, grandson, Trey Lambeth, brother, R.W. Lambeth, and sister, Virginia L. Craven and her husband Carol. He married the former Dovie Louella Bullins in 1983 who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his daughter, Tammy Lynn Lambeth and David Roberts of Thomasville, son Terry Ronald Lambeth, Jr. of High Point, brothers, Jerry Donald Lambeth and wife Vickie of High Point, and Lloyd Lambeth of Charlotte, sister in law, Ann Lambeth of Winston-Salem, stepsons, Donnie Lee Mabe of Eden, Winfred Eugene Mabe and Kathy of Sandy Ridge, Donald Wray Mabe and Vickie of Madison, stepdaughters, Barbara Ann Mabe and Glendale of Danbury, Peggy Sue Martin and Thomas of Sandy Ridge; three grandchildren, eleven step grandchildren, and fifteen step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Monday at 11:00 AM at New Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church with Dr. Robert T. McLawhorn and Rev. Ricky Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home on Highway 109 in Wallburg. The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice Home at High Point, 1803 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC 27262 in Mr. Lambeth's name.
