I met Terry when I joined La Verne Rotary and over the years enjoyed several golfing trips with Terry. He was a very generous and fun person. We enjoyed many meals together and shared a few bottles of wine. To Nedra and family, my heart goes out to you.

I met Terry when I worked at the Humane Society. He was a dedicated Board Member and supporter of the Humane Society and voiced what the dream was for it growing to help more animals and expand to serve more cities.

My husband Mark and myself (Monique) went on a sail boat trip to the Caribbean Islands with Terry and Nedra, Billy and Pam Harford, Chuck and Candace, and Dan for a very fun get a way for us all. To this day, we still laugh at the times we shared.

We explored many islands, had delicious fresh sea food and fruits with sizzlers each night to kick off happy hour while sailing. A great day on one of the islands was spending the day exploring and hanging out on the beautiful beach. The crew had come to shore and set up volley ball nets , brought rafts and noodle and soft big towels. What we so had fun doing was eating grilled cheese burgers in Paradise on the beach with Jimmy Buffett music playing. We had a toga night. There was also the championship Crab Race. We each had 1 crab and had the official Crab Racing Event! Each night there was music on the top deck that included wild and crazy dancing while the stars were shining above us. There were also the flying fish we would watch and talked the night away with much laughter. A plank on the ship if you were not being fun which made us laugh. We changed it into a diving board! We were all fun, so no walking the plank for this group.

Terry also loved going to Canada with his dear friend Billy to fish for a week in the majestic woods and beautiful water ways and lakes. They slept in cozy cabins, were flown in planes and taken to areas not fished by anyone else. The eagles were a sight to see. They became good friends with the owners who made everyone feel right ant home. Other friends would go at times too. He especially enjoyed himself when his son Carl went along. Good times were had by all!

Our Deepest Sympathies to family and friends who were important in his life.

May Terry rest in peace.

Blessings upon his family whom he loved very much,
Mark and Monique McLean
