Terry Lesperance Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 12, 2025.
Terry Lee "Bubby" Lesperance, Jr., 56, passed away on March 9, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on September 21, 1968, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Terry lived a life full of adventure, love, and dedication to his family and country.

Terry proudly served in the United States Navy as an AD2 from September 1986 to September 1991. His time in the military shaped his strong work ethic and a deep sense of camaraderie, values he carried with him throughout his life.

He found immense joy in traveling with his beloved wife, Shelby Lesperance, creating cherished memories along the way. Terry loved crappie fishing and riding his Harley. He also treasured the time spent with his American Veterans Motorcycle Club brothers and friends. However, above all else, he held a deep and unwavering love for his children and grandbabies-his greatest pride and joy.

Terry is survived by his wife, Shelby Lesperance; his mother, Beverly Lesperance; his sister, Teresa Lesperance; and his brother, Kerry John Lesperance. He leaves a loving legacy through his children: Niza Lesperance-Martinez and her husband, Carlos Martinez; Brittany Armitage; Bryan David Armitage; and Bethany Lance and her husband, Jeremy Lance. His granddaughters-Hailey Elizabeth Lance, Kinnidi Dai Lance, Reagan Alexis Lance, Nicayla Lesperance Martinez, McKinley Paige Lance, Madison Victoria Lance, and Nayeleigh Lesperance Martinez-will forever carry forward the love he so freely gave. He is also remembered by his nieces Amanda Simpson, Taylor Wasser, and Gina Saccone, nephew Mason Lesperance, aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Lee Lesperance Sr., and his nephew, Brandon Lesperance.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 22, 2025, at the American Legion in Claremore, Oklahoma (2141 OK-88), from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Terry's adventurous spirit and boundless love for family will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

Love you more!

I don´t know what to say but you will be missed by all. You were taken way too young and I know you would´ve done more great things in your life. But only God knows why he has taken you. We all wonder why the young ones with more to give in life gets taken from us and leaves us empty. All I do know is that you have left a big impact on many people. So rest high on that mountain and enjoy our family that is resting with you. You will be missed. Love you to heaven and back.
