MCCUSKER, Terry (TJ)
December 28, 1942 – January 15, 2016
Terry passed away suddenly in Edmonton on January 15, 2016. He was born in Calgary, Alberta and attended St. Joseph's and St. Mary's Boys' High Schools. He was passionate about many sports, especially hockey and golf. Terry worked as an electrician and later a senior estimator with Comstock Canada until his retirement in 2012. He was easygoing and well-respected by his colleagues in the electrical field. He had a great sense of humor, was never without a smile and was very generous. Terry will be missed by his life-time partner Audrey, his son, Kelly and granddaughter, Skyla. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by sisters, Maureen Bowman, Sheila (Jack) Holliston, Cathy Pamer, Sharon Heffernan; brothers, Brian and Larry; sisters-in-law, Jeanne McCusker, Kathy Taylor and Baya McCusker; as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Terry was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Jim; sisters, Moira and Colleen; brothers, Pat and Jim, and brothers-in-law, John Pamer and Ralph Bowman. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (404 Northmount Pl NW) on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Committal Service to follow at Sacred Heart Columbarium. Dear McCusker Family,
Please accept our most heartfelt condolences as you suffer this great loss of your Brother and Friend Terry. Sorry to hear about Terry. Terry signed me into the IBEW 79. Comstock did all the work for my dad (George Freeman) at the General Hospital way back then. I worked for Terry at the AGT tower & the Sheerness generator station. Later we worked together at Kenonic Controls and then again for Comstock at Sclair Joffre. Terry was a great insperation & mentor to me. Sad that he is gone but I have lots of great memories. Goodbye from one sparky to another.
