TERRY NEWLIN

Terry Newlin, nee Ochsner, age 55, a resident of Medina, MN, formerly of Naperville, IL, 1984-1994 and 1997-2003, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at her home from complications related to major heart surgery. She was born April 2, 1954 in Mobridge, SD, beloved wife of Stephen D. Newlin, whom she married Aug. 17, 1975, loving mother of Grant and Scott Newlin. Terry is also the twin sister of Julie (Vincent) Lavieri of Naperville and sister of Kent (Donel) Ochsner of Sioux Falls, SD, and Jill (Gary) Aderhold of Bath, SD; she was the fond aunt of several; Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Aldean and Esther Ochsner. Terry grew up in Mobridge, SD, was a member of Mobridge High School's Class of 1972 and was a graduate of the National College of Business, Rapid City, SD. She began her career as an accountant and advanced to become the Controller of Premier Hospital Alliance, later giving up her career to start her family. Throughout the years, Terry lived in Arizona, California, Texas and Europe, always willing to move to support her husband's frequent career moves. Terry enjoyed golf, reading, dining and traveling. Visitation Monday, Feb. 22, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville. A Vigil Service will follow Monday, 12 p.m. in the church. Interment: SS.
